Terms of Service

These are the terms for using sheetfolk (sheetfolk.com), a product of Opsibyte. By buying a template, you agree to the following.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using sheetfolk, you confirm you can form a binding contract (you're at least 18, or the age of majority where you live). If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What you're buying

A one-time, digital-download spreadsheet template (Google Sheets / Excel), delivered by email after payment. Every 2026-edition update to the template you bought is free — it's yours forever, not a subscription.

3. Delivery

After checkout, you land on a thank-you page with your download link, and we also email it to you. Bookmark the page — the link stays live there. If you lose it, email [email protected] with your receipt and we'll resend it.

4. Billing & refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe or Etsy, depending on where you buy. All sales are final, but if a file is genuinely broken or you were charged in error, email [email protected] and we'll fix it fast or make it right.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to resell, redistribute, or sublicense the templates, remove attribution where required, or use the service for anything illegal or fraudulent. We may refuse service to accounts that violate this section.

6. Your content and data

The template is a starting point — what you enter into your own copy is yours alone; we never see it. Data entered into a Google Sheets or Excel copy you make never reaches our servers.

7. Intellectual property

sheetfolk, its name, logo, and template designs and formulas are our property (or licensed to us) and protected by intellectual-property law. Buying a template grants you a personal-use (or, where stated, small-business-use) license to the file — it does not transfer ownership of the design or formulas, and does not permit resale or redistribution of the template itself.

8. Third-party services

sheetfolk relies on third-party providers (Stripe and Etsy for payment, Resend for email delivery, our hosting provider) to function. We're not responsible for outages or issues caused by those providers, though we'll work to minimize their impact on you.

9. Disclaimers

The templates are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. sheetfolk templates are budgeting and organizational tools, not financial, tax, or legal advice — you're responsible for verifying any calculation before relying on it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, sheetfolk and its operators won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of a template. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the template in question.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold sheetfolk harmless from any claim, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may refuse or discontinue service to anyone who violates these Terms. Because purchases are one-time digital downloads with no ongoing account, there's nothing else to "terminate" on our side — you keep the file you bought.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which sheetfolk's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally should first be raised with us at [email protected] — we'd rather fix a problem than litigate it.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as sheetfolk evolves. The version at sheetfolk.com/terms always governs, and we'll update the "Last updated" date above when we make a change.
